Veronym Holding GmbH, Bachstelzenweg 23, 14195 Berlin, Germany collects the personal data you provide on this site, the data contained in your resume or cover letter, and the data you provide during the recruiting and hiring process, for the purposes of managing Veronym’ recruitment related activities as well as for organizational planning purposes globally.

Veronym will use Your Personal Data in relation to the evaluation and selection of job applicants, including but not limited to: setting up and conducting interviews and tests to evaluate your application and your suitability for a job; communicating with you and alerting you about professional opportunities with Veronym as they open up; and as otherwise needed in the recruitment and hiring process. We will also use it to generate statistics and reports about our talent acquisition and hiring activities, as required or permitted by applicable law.

Your Personal Data may be consolidated and stored with information about you collected from public documents or public profiles, such as your LinkedIn profile, and with additional information collected during the interview process, including background checks. Also, if you are hired, Your Personal Data will be aggregated with your data as a Veronym’ employee.

Providing Your Personal Data is voluntary, but necessary to apply, and if you do not agree to provide Your Data, we will not be able to consider you as an applicant.

Veronym processes Your Personal Data for the following purposes:
– On the basis of legitimate business interest, for the primary purpose of determining your suitability for employment, to manage our recruiting processes, and to facilitate the hiring process.
– For compliance with applicable laws and protection of Veronym’ legal rights, including, but not limited to, use in connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, and investigative purposes (including disclosure of such information in connection with legal process or litigation).
– With your consent, for processing and further retaining your Personal Data for future positions at Veronym.

Your Personal Data may be transferred to locations outside your country, such as United States, or to subsidiaries, which may be in Europe, in the Middle East. Transfers will occur in compliance with applicable data protection requirements. If you are in the EEA and Your Personal Data is transferred to a country not approved by the EU Commission as providing adequate protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects, Your Personal Data will be transferred on the basis of data transfer agreements based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved data transfer mechanism. Your Personal Data will be processed primarily by Veronym’ employees in our HR team and by hiring managers and may from time to time also be shared with third parties acting on Veronym’ behalf, including for instance IT service providers, database managers, and background check service providers, to be processed under our instructions and with appropriate confidentiality, exclusively for the purposes indicated above.

Your Personal Data may be shared with government authorities and/or law enforcement officials if required for the purposes above, if mandated or permitted by law, and if required for the legal protection of Veronym’ legitimate interests, in compliance with applicable laws.

Your Personal Data will be retained in compliance with Veronym’ record retention policies, as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or authorized by you.

You can exercise your right of viewing, correcting, revising, erasing, transferring, restricting Your Personal Data, objecting to processing or withdrawing your consent by contacting legal@veronym.com.
